Provider Selection
The employer has the right to select a health care provider for the initial 10 days of medical care. After 10 days the employee may select a provider and provide the employer with the name and a statement of intention to treat with that provider.
Managed Care Options
There are no regulations by the WCB regarding managed care plans; however employers/insurers may provide such services that do not interfere with the provider choice provisions.
Provider Lists
Provider lists and directories may be utilized. There is no state-mandated posting.
