Provider Selection
Employees choose from members of the managed care program (CMP). However, employees may choose a provider outside of the plan if they notify the plan of the selection of a nonparticipating provider before treatment. CMPs may be denied certification or have certification revoked or suspended if they restrict access within the CMP to any medical provider.
Managed Care Options
All employees are to be covered under a state certified managed care plan.
Provider Lists
Provider lists and directories may be utilized. There is no state-mandated posting; generic worksite posters may be used.
